Lights, Camera, Cling film

Tonight  in Hotspur  Tamara and  I went  and installed lights into the cling film sculpture when  the lights  of Manchester had gone down, i thought that installing the lights when its actually dark would  show up the ink the most, and it really draws attention to the piece.  We used different filters and lights on both the poles,  the first 30mins we spent figuring out what settings to have the camera. Whilst Tamamra was photographing the lights  inside the piece and focusing mainly the effect that the lights had on the room, i was more interested in  showing up the colours, i used different lights, and different filters to create different effects on the cling film.  What worked really well was the lights being down the side of the poles, and for my exhibition i want to put lights down the sides of the poles, not a sharp light as it shines through to harshly. I am really happy with this outcome and the photos that came from it. Obviously these aren't all the photos however  i have chosen the ones that have shown off colour, patterns and the atmosphere in the room.
