QUEENS STREET MILL TEXTILE MUSEUM

Few weeks ago i went to QUEENS STREET MILL TEXTILE MUSEUM , Burnley to see the photography exhbition.

it was inside a weave mill, where there were lots of weaving industrial machines. the exhibtion was photogrpahs installation projected into a white cloth. And distortion sounds were also created by salford university students taking inspiration from the mill.

What i liked the most was the sounds playing inside the mill where it was dark with lots of old heavy grim industrial machines. it was quite haunting including with the black and white images.

there were images from the mill workers and their genrations.

waht also caught my eyes were those 19th century weaving machines.

these images remind me of her constructive playful images that she has been re searching. maybe she could use this as her inspariton and even install her piece of assemblaged piece she has been creating with objects she has been collecting.
